Not a Punishment

Struck off for refusing to bind a child's hands in iron, tutor Tamsin Venn takes the only post left: teaching Duke Ronan Vale's eight-year-old daughter, Liora, whose magic lifts things she cannot put down. Now an inspector from the capital is coming to watch a lesson, and the children the inspectors take do not come back.
