Playback analytics

We record first-party playback events — what you watched, how far you got, and when — so we can keep your place and understand which episodes are working. We never sell this data, and we never share it with advertising networks.

Session recording

We use LogRocket to record how pages are actually used — clicks, taps, scrolling, and the layout of what was on screen — so we can find and fix things that break for real viewers. These recordings are stored on our behalf by LogRocket, a third-party service. They are not used to build advertising profiles, and they are never sold.

If you have bought or subscribed, we also attach your purchase email address to your recordings. This is so that when you contact us about a problem we can find the session you are describing instead of searching blindly through anonymous ones. That address comes from your purchase with Stripe, not from anything typed while being recorded, and it is the only identifying information we attach. If you have not bought or subscribed, your recordings carry no identifier at all.

The sensitive parts are excluded by design. Nothing you type into a form on this site is captured — no recording shows a typed address or anything else you enter. The payment form is excluded from recordings entirely, and we never handle a card number ourselves — card details are entered directly with Stripe.

Anonymous cookies

A single anonymous cookie identifies your device so we can save your progress without asking you to sign up. It carries no name, email, or payment information — just a random identifier.

Email

If you choose to follow a series by email, we ask you to confirm the address before sending anything else. We use your email only to notify you about the series you followed and, separately and only if you opt in, about new original series. You choose each preference independently.

Retention and contact

We keep playback events and your anonymous viewing progress for up to 24 months (a founder-proposed period, pending legal review), then delete or irreversibly aggregate them. A confirmed follow is kept until you unsubscribe; after that, a suppression record is kept indefinitely as a hash only, so we can guarantee we never email you again. An unused confirmation link is deleted automatically 48 hours after it's issued. You can clear your anonymous cookie at any time, or ask us to delete the data tied to your email address. Unsubscribe

Every email we send carries a one-click unsubscribe link that works immediately and does not require signing in. You can also manage your notification preferences from that same link.
